Absent: Sect’y Hadley Robinson, Trsr’r Steve Crye

Sect’y Report: (Terry subbing for Had) April 27 mtg minutes read/accepted Trsr’r Report: $3457.32

Old Business:

1) RGSA Memorial Day Fun Fly held May 24-27; poorly attended, too windy but glass-off approx 4:30 pm allowed hg & pg flights by Steve Ford, Robin Hastings, Wyatt Lines, Steve Crye; visitors George Woodcock, Finess Miller, Terry Cummings, Keith & Rena Campbell; very nice trophies made by Crye saved for 2019 Columbus Day Fun Fly;

New Business:

1) Wyatt has his pg P4/P5 Observer appointment scheduled;

2) Getting lots of traveling pilots passing through just to fly: Jim & Pam McNutt (NJ), Nate & Joe (TX), John Gallagher, Juan Mira (Columbia S. A.), Sam Kellner w/ new foot launch (experienced tow launch) hg pilot Ben Stembridge (TX);

3) Bill shared a recorded news video identifying the proposed road near Anapra flying site;

4) Sites lost: Vera Cruz, Point Ridge

5) Wyatt mentioned Tucker Gott pg pilot YouTube; discussion of opening an RGSA YouTube channel w short 5 second or shorter changes, captioning, music & voice-overs •Meeting adjourned at 12:20 pm w/ Wyatt (pg) planning to meet Shamek (driver) for a foot launch at Dry Canyon, Alamogordo, NM.
